Yoya is a conversational scheduling assistant: you share a link, and guests book a meeting by chatting with Yoya. If you offer Zoom as a meeting option, connecting your Zoom account lets Yoya automatically create a scheduled Zoom meeting for every confirmed booking and include the join link in the confirmation email and calendar invite. Yoya is a published app on the Zoom App Marketplace. This guide covers connecting, using, and removing the Yoya Zoom integration.
Connecting your Zoom account
- Sign in at yoya.ai and open Dashboard → Settings.
- Under Meeting options, check Zoom.
- Click Connect Zoom. You'll be redirected to Zoom to review the requested permissions.
- Click Allow. Zoom returns you to Yoya, which now shows your Zoom account as connected.
Using Zoom for your bookings
- Keep Zoom checked in your booking page's Meeting options.
- When a guest completes a booking and Zoom is the chosen option, Yoya creates a scheduled Zoom meeting in your account for the booked time.
- The Zoom join link is included in the confirmation email and the
.icscalendar invite sent to you and your guest, and the meeting appears in your Zoom account.
What Yoya can access
- Create a meeting on your behalf (
meeting:write:meeting). - Your basic Zoom profile(
user:read:user) so the meeting is created in the correct account. - Yoya does not read your existing meetings or recordings, does not access any other Zoom data, and never sees your Zoom password.
Removing the integration
You can disconnect Zoom at any time:
- In Yoya: open Dashboard → Settings and uncheck Zoom under Meeting options. Yoya stops creating Zoom meetings for new bookings.
- In Zoom: go to the Zoom App Marketplace → Manage → Added Apps, find Yoya, and click Remove. This revokes Yoya's access to your Zoom account.
