Know what prompted the call.
Yoya helps founders and salespeople book discovery calls through a conversation. Prospects can describe their current workflow and what they want to change while choosing a time. You get a meeting brief to help prepare a relevant first conversation.
Before the calendar invite
An inbound demo request can mean several things: someone is comparing tools, trying to fix a specific problem, or simply exploring. A short conversation during booking gives you a starting point for the call without asking the prospect to work through a long questionnaire.
01Create a focused discovery link
Use a page description that explains who the call is for and what you will cover. Set available hours and a meeting length you can keep. Share the link on your website or in an existing conversation with a prospect.
02Collect a little useful context
Ask what the prospect wants to improve and which tools they use today. If you always need a company URL or a particular detail, add a required field. Keep optional questions conversational so someone who is still exploring can explain that.
03Prepare a relevant first call
Review the guest’s request in the meeting brief. Choose examples that address the problem they described, and use the call to confirm your understanding. Their stated needs are a conversation starter, not verified qualification data.
A starting point for your booking page
Adapt these conversation instructions to your work:
Find out what brought the prospect here, how they handle this workflow today, and what they hope to change. Ask about timing if it comes up naturally. Do not promise integrations, pricing exceptions, or implementation dates.
Suggested required fields: Company website; What would you like to discuss?. Only add the ones you need. Name and email are already required.
Questions before you start
- Does Yoya automatically qualify or reject leads?
- Yoya collects information and prepares a brief. It is not a lead-scoring or automatic approval system. Review the prospect’s answers yourself before making a business decision.
- Does this include round-robin routing or CRM updates?
- These pages describe booking with an individual host. Yoya does not currently provide built-in round-robin assignment or a native CRM sync. Use a separate workflow if those are requirements.
- Can a prospect use voice instead of typing?
- Voice booking is available on eligible paid plans while voice minutes remain. Text chat is available without using voice minutes. Voice happens on the booking page; this is not an outbound phone-calling service.
