Consulting calls that start with context.

Yoya is an AI scheduling assistant for consultants who want to understand a project before the first call. Share one booking link so prospective clients can explain what they need, choose an available time, and leave you with a useful starting point.

Before the calendar invite

A calendar invitation tells you when to meet. It may tell you very little about the work. When a new client books a discovery call, the useful details are often spread across an email thread, an introduction, and a few messages. Collect the essentials during booking so the call can start with the project.

  1. 01Set aside time for discovery calls

Create a booking page for an introductory consultation. Choose the meeting length, available hours, minimum notice, and a buffer after each call. Connect Google Calendar so existing events are included in the availability check.

  2. 02Ask about the project

Tell Yoya what you want to learn: the problem, the current approach, and the desired outcome. Add a required field for anything you must receive before booking, such as a company website. Conversation guidance alone does not guarantee that every question gets an answer.

  3. 03Read the brief before you meet

The guest chooses a time and confirms their name and email. Review the booking brief to understand the project and prepare follow-up questions. Guests can use their booking management link if plans change.

A starting point for your booking page

Adapt these conversation instructions to your work:

Ask what the client wants to improve, what they have tried, and whether there is a target date. Keep the introduction short. Do not promise a quote, an outcome, or project availability beyond the consultation.

Suggested required fields: Company website; Project topic. Only add the ones you need. Name and email are already required.

Questions before you start

Can clients book without creating an account?
Yes. Guests open your booking link, answer the booking questions, and choose a time. Their name and email are required, along with any extra required fields you set.
Can I require a budget or project website?
Yes. Add it as a required field on the booking page. Use the conversation instructions for topics worth exploring, and required fields for answers you cannot book without.
Does Yoya collect payment for the consultation?
Yoya’s booking flow does not collect consultation payments. Arrange payment separately if needed. The booking brief also does not act as a proposal or agreement to take on the work.
