A REAL CROSS-TIME-ZONE EXAMPLE
New York, London, and Berlin meeting times
On September 14, 2026, a 9:00 a.m. meeting in New York starts at 2:00 p.m. in London and 3:00 p.m. in Berlin. A 30-minute call fits a 9-to-5 workday in all three cities.
| City | Local meeting time | UTC offset |
|---|---|---|
| New York | 09:00–09:30 | GMT-4 |
| London | 14:00–14:30 | GMT+1 |
| Berlin | 15:00–15:30 | GMT+2 |
Why your meeting date matters for daylight saving time
On March 16, 2026, 9:00 a.m. in New York is 13:00 in London. On March 30, the same New York time is 14:00 in London. The difference changes because the US and UK move their clocks on different dates. Recheck each date when planning a recurring call.
HOW THE TOOL WORKS
What is a time zone meeting planner?
A time zone meeting planner compares local times and working hours to find a shared meeting window. Yoya’s planner checks the full meeting duration for everyone, so a call cannot start just before someone’s workday ends and run past it.
How Yoya calculates overlapping hours
The tool checks possible starts every 15 minutes on your selected date in the first city. It converts each start into every participant’s time zone, then keeps only meetings that fit entirely within all the working hours you entered. “Weekdays only” applies to each participant’s local day.
What this free tool includes
- 2–4 cities from 15 supported locations.
- 15-, 30-, 45-, or 60-minute meetings.
- Date-specific time zone and daylight saving conversions.
- Copyable invitations and shareable planner settings.
Working hours must start and end on the same local day. This tool does not check calendars, public holidays, or overnight shifts, and it does not send invitations or reserve a time.
Time zone names follow the IANA Time Zone Database. Conversions use the time zone data available in your browser, so keep your browser and operating system up to date.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS
Time zone meeting planner FAQ
How do I find a meeting time across time zones?
Choose a date and add each participant’s city. Set their usual working hours and your meeting length. The planner finds start times that fit everyone’s working hours, then shows the same moment in each city.
Does the planner account for daylight saving time?
Yes. Times are calculated for your selected date using named time zones, so seasonal clock changes are included. Choose a city rather than relying on abbreviations such as CST, which can mean different things.
Does a suggested time mean everyone is available?
It means the full call fits the working hours you entered. This tool does not read anyone’s calendar or account for public holidays. Ask participants to confirm, or use Yoya to book against a host’s connected calendar.
Is this time zone meeting planner free?
Yes. This free tool requires no signup. Compare times, copy your invitation, and share a link without an account. Calculations happen in your browser. A shared link includes only the date, cities, working hours, meeting length, and selected time.
Can I compare more than two time zones?
Yes. Add two to four cities from the 15 supported locations. Each city can have different working hours. The planner checks that the entire 15-, 30-, 45-, or 60-minute meeting fits every participant’s hours.
Can I plan recurring meetings across time zones?
This tool checks one date at a time. Recheck dates after daylight saving changes, especially when participants are in countries that change their clocks on different days. A time that works this week may not work all year.
What if there are no overlapping hours?
Try another date or ask a participant whether they can extend their working hours. For recurring calls, consider rotating the inconvenient time instead of asking the same person to join early or late every week.
